Nate is very professional and has a lot of creative ideas and technical knowledge. His choice of music was very good. The lights added a fun atmosphere for our event. The wireless microphone allowed everyone to participate in a group game and everyone could be heard easily. That made a huge difference in the success of this event. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?All my prices vary per event. Full-service events range from $300-$1,500 based on length, location, venue, equipment and staff needed. I ask for a reasonable booking fee as a deposit to reserve the date. Then the remainder, counting any changes, by the date of the event, unless other arrangements are made. All my pricing info is available on a read-only Google spreadsheet with all applicable fees and discounts. Go to my website contact page to get started.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I would like to have all customers fill out a questionnaire or two when booking an event. I also like to meet by phone (or in person, if local) to cover my pricing table. I want to get to know my clients needs and wants before committing to the event. I will send out a quote, and upon acceptance then a invoice, contract and payment schedule, all thru my web-based business software. I also give access to all the documents thru their online client portal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am mainly self-taught. I watch training videos online. My step-father owns a recording studio and mobile recording business. My father-in-law works for a sound system installation company. So I get some knowledge from them. I also network with other DJ or sound professionals in my area.
