Introduction: I am an English "nerd" who loves to edit! I will read and reread a document to tweak the language until it is clear, concise, and elegantly phrased.
I enjoy taking the written word and using it to convey a certain idea in as clear a manner as possible. I have worked in the field of higher education for more than 15 years, but I am also the "go-to" person for friends and family whenever they need anything edited: speeches, work emails, documents, and more. I have recently begun to work as an editor at a weekly news magazine.
