Introduction: You can feel comfortable leaving your home and/or your pets while on vacation! As a pet owner myself, I understand that different pets have different needs, both physical and emotional. I am willing to stay overnight, if you prefer. In addition to providing home maintenance (watering plants, pool maintenance, getting mail, etc.) and caring for pets, I will ensure that your home is kept tidy. Pets are family members too! I am a loving and compassionate person and I am willing to do whatever it takes to allow even the most shy pets to trust me. No pets, but still want someone to watch your home while you're away? I am a responsible 23-year-old student studying Biology at the local college, IRSC, and I spend my free time studying. It is important to me that you feel that your pets and belongings are safe while you are gone, so I always meet with my clients one month in advance to make sure that we are a good fit. I genuinely love animals and enjoy caring for them. I have worked with pets that range from purebred poodles to feral cats to chickens. I have found in all cases that the most rewarding aspect of this job is bonding with the animal and gaining their trust!

I was referred to Haley by a friend who had nothing but wonderful things to say about her character and work ethic. Upon meeting her we could feel her warmth and kindness and we were very impressed. She has house/pet sat for us on two long term occasions and we were amazed by her dedication to her job. She went out of her way to care for our kitties and give them all the love and attention. She kept us apprised of daily mail, sent pics of my pets and we were 100% comfortable that all was ok while we were away. She even was able to befriend our indoor feral kitty with her strong determination to give him love and affection. Haley takes her responsibilities very serious and goes above and beyond. We arrived home to an immaculate house which showed she had much respect and took pride in our home while we were gone. I have no doubt or reservations to refer Haley to care for your home and pets. She is truly a gem!!!

Haley did a fantastic job taking care of my two high energy dogs which is not easy. She stayed overnight for a week and also took care of plants, took in the mail as well as clean and feed my three hens. I would highly recommend Haley for taking care of your best friends.

The clients I have worked for have requested I stay overnight while caring for their home and pets. Pet sitting fees: Overnight: $40 per night, fee for additional pet(s) negotiable Visits during the day vary per client. House sitting fees: Overnight: $30 per night Visits during the day vary per client.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will either travel to or meet with a client a month in advance to make sure we are a good fit. I will then travel to their home one or two weeks prior to further discuss the care of their home and/or pet(s).
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started pet sitting for my mother and coworkers. My client base has expanded through word of mouth. This is the first time offering my services online.
