Paws of Change Training & Behavior

Introduction: I have served the Fredericksburg and surrounding communities for 5 years now, and before that served the Northern VA area as a Trainer and Pet Sitter. My passion is working with dogs and their families, while ensuring the process is fun, easy, and safe. I've handled everything from puppy training to major behavioral issues such as aggression and separation anxiety. I also offer group classes and private training in home or in store. It is my goal to you feel comfortable and confident working together throughout the training process. You can rely on my experience as nationally certified trainer by the Council of Professional Dog Trainers and Association of Pet dog Trainers. I'm also a member of the Pet Professionals Guild and fully insured. Clients can rely on my positive training methods which are rooted in the study and experience of Dog Behavior & Psychology. I have several positive Thumbtack, Yelp, and Google reviews and if at anytime a client isn't satisfied with the training we will always work something out, but so far this hasn't ever been an issue through the years. My absolute favorite part of my job is seeing the reaction on a client's face when they see their dog actually "thinking" and "choosing" the behavior we wanted. It's great seeing owners watch their dog learn new things and to be able to interact with their dog in a new way that is mutually beneficial to both. The 2nd best part of my job is helping to repair dogs who're experiencing behavioral issues and the relationships that may be suffering as a result. My goal is to keep as many dogs in their homes as possible and to also give families the best start with new family members as well.
