Mr. Erik was my vocal coach for over three and a half years. Throughout those years he taught me three different languages (Italian, German, French), basic piano, singing techniques, performance quality, and much more. He always keeps the lessons fun and interesting and finds ways to help you better understand music from both a technical and emotional standpoint. Working with Mr. Erik made me a more confident and technical singer. He helped prepare me for college and all of my auditions for musicals. He also sparked my interest in classical singing which is something I will always be thankful for because it made me a more well rounded singer. Mr. Erik is a phenomenal teacher and person who has so much to offer anyone he works with.

Erik Sumner is by far one of the finest musicians, vocal or instrumental, that I have had the pleasure of working with in my forty-five year career. $40 = 30 min in-home lesson ($160/mo) $55 = 45 min in-home lesson ($220/mo) $65 = 60 min in-home lesson ($260/mo)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let's meet in person to get to know each other personally and to communicate your musical goals and my ability to help. We'll spend plenty of time narrowing down what the goals even are, which is a critical but often overlooked step. I will then retrieve or create appropriate written materials relevant to your goals. I'm also currently creating tutorial videos which will be general and applicable to any student, but also others for specific songs, pieces, or concepts you're working on. You can then practice with these when I'm not around.
