We hired Pool Medix after a bad experience with another company. Pool Medix has been doing a great job with servicing the pool and making repairs that were needed.

On Sunday 2/5 I created my pool cleaning project. Pool Medix included a filter cleaning service which I knew could be expensive so I had communications with Keith Matlock. Told him we were about to sell out house and confirmed he would still include the service knowing that this might not be a long term contract. He asked me to contact him on Monday to setup an appointment. I explained that I was going on a business trip and wrote "can we schedule something for Saturday 2/11? We'll be available all day." His reply was "OK thk". I told him to send me a note when he knows the time he would be arriving on 2/11. I never received any additional communication from Keith. On Saturday 2/11 I called him. I could tell he didn't know who I was, once he confirmed he said he would be at the house in 1/2. An hour later I look at my phone and see a missed call from him but no message so I call again. He calls back and tells my husband that they don't schedule these type of calls on Saturday. My communication with Keith was all documented and clearly showed a request for Saturday and agreement from him. Canceled service request and will never consider using Pool Medix again.

We've been using Keith going on two months for monthly service. Thus far we couldn't be happier. The communication has been great and our pool has been in tip-top shape. The invoicing process is an excellent feature since I am one who prefers to use online billing. In addition to easy invoicing we are provided with a weekly update of our pool chemical results along with photos; this gives us peace of mind knowing the service was performed. No longer do we have to second-guess whether or not our pool service was completed.
He's been kind enough to respond to texts outside of normal working hours and helpful in resetting our pool pump to run during the cost saving hours of SRP's time-of-use-plan. I cannot speak to other people's experiences but our monthly service was very simple to get started. We look forward to working with Keith indefinitely.
