FurReal Pet-Sitting

Introduction: When I retired from teaching in public education a few years ago, I had no idea what I would do. I tried a number of part time jobs, but nothing really interested me or made me feel needed. Then, last year an acquaintance of mine asked if I would watch her two furbabies (dogs)when she went on a cruise. I had never done anything like that, but I said that I would. I ended up watching her house and her dogs. The dogs were so sweet and seemed to take to me right away. They didn't have to be shut up in a kennel for four days, and they were happy because I gave them extra treats and loved on them. The house is beautiful and comfortable, and I made sure it was secure and no one was around who had no business. I didn't think about doing pet-sitting or house sitting right away, but I have done more sitting for the same friend. This summer she has scheduled several dates to watch her furbabies and house, and I'm really looking forward to it. I was telling my daughter about this, and she suggested I start my own pet-sitting/ house-sitting business. Not thinking twice, I began a Thumb-Tack account! I love animals and they need comfort, love, and great care especially when they are separated from their family. My goal is to provide great service to the customer, giving them the assurance that their pet will have the utmost care and their home will be watched and secure while they are away.
