I hired Mary Elise to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. i was unsure of what I wanted for my hair so she let me bounce ideas off of her and gave me advice and we decided what we both loved. She did a trial (which is hard to find people to do but I felt I really needed one to feel comfortable) and we discussed any changes I wanted to be made. She made note of the small changes and on my wedding day was it was perfect! I absolutely loved it! She also did my makeup for my wedding which was flawless! She was on time and really had a hand in my wedding not being too stressful! She made this part of the wedding something I really didn't have to worry about! I would absolutely recommend her!

I had my hair & makeup done for my wedding. My hair was perfect. My makeup was not exactly what I was expecting but it looked good and fit my theme. Mary Elise was fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure I looked amazing and loved how I looked. The only thing I would change would be to have a makeup run though like we did the hair. My foundation ended up being a little light and my eyeshadow a little dark, due to lighting in our preparation facility, but I loved it. I will be using Pretty ME again in the future.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have my customers will out a short Q&A to give me a more accurate feel of their hair, skin, and how their special day will go. After that, I do one free trial run on their hair. Depending on the price of service, I will require a down payment at the trial date, then the balance the day of the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Tennessee. I have been doing hair and makeup for weddings, proms, banquets, and other formal events since before I started hair school.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to do formal hair and makeup on a daily basis and decided to start my own business. And I love it!!
