The first call I made to EIT was to perform a HDD clone to SSD for my personal computer.
Sam from EIT arrived as scheduled and started the cloning process. The Samsung cloning software had several boot issues after the hard drive was cloned to the SSD.
Fortunately, Sam knew what to do and solved the boot errors within the hour. Before leaving he double checked the OS and made sure everything was in working order before going on his way.
He mentioned if any issues turned up that I should feel free to call him.
A couple months later I needed a stronger Wi-Fi signal for my separate garage apartment. Signal strength was very poor on multiple devices. I gave Sam a call and asked what he recommended to solve this. He immediately gave me a product link for what he believed to be the tool for the job. After a couple days of reviewing similar products, I came full circle to the same product he recommended in the first place.
After the unit arrived I scheduled Sam to come out to set it up. He arrived on time and had thankfully brought several Ethernet cables with him in order to complete the install, since I was lacking the proper cables.
He was able to set the unit up as a wireless to Ethernet Bridge, so that my desktop computer could plug directly into the unit for faster and more consistent internet speeds. He was also able to set up the unit so that it rebroadcast a separate Wi-Fi network for my wireless devices within the garage apartment.
The product documentation was severely lacking, so there was no way I would be able to have done this on my own. The product description seemed to indicate that it could not perform the multiple functions listed above at the same time, but somehow Sam was able to make it work. The setup process took about two hours, but was worth it in the end considering I got more than what I was looking for originally.
So far I have had no issues, only a few questions here and there which were promptly answered. I would highly recommend EIT (which I already have, to friends and family) to anyone requiring computer and networking assistance, simple or complex.
