What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a voice or piano teacher, the first order of business is to break the ice and get the student feel as comfortable as can be expected at a first meeting. After that, we need to begin to assess where the student is regarding their craft, and where they would like to go. Then it's my job to help them make that a reality.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Studied Voice and Composition at Santa Monica College and the University of Houston. Began teaching/coaching in 1991.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Began my career as a radio DJ while still in High School in Madrid, Spain. From there I was invited to guest vocal on an upcoming debut recording of a French pop group, Bandolero. That single, "Paris Latino" was an enormous success which led to a major label recording contract with Polygram Iberica, and other contracts, TV hosting, touring, etc.
