I would like to please respond to the previous review from “Neeru K”. I met Julio in 2017 when he came to quote a job in my Kitchen. I had received 2 quotes before he arrived; and his quote was less than half of what the previous two had quoted. I hired him and am quite certain that the job he did was probably better than what I would have gotten from the other two. I watched how he pays attention to detail in every aspect. I watched how he refuses to move on until he makes it look exactly perfect. I have compared his job to others I’ve seen in even more expensive homes and he does an immaculate job. He even moved my furniture and pictures even though I had offered to do that. Regarding the comments from “Neeru K”, I must let everyone know that there were a couple of times when I asked Julio to quote me on other side jobs and his quote seemed high to me. However, as I was watching him do the work, I realized that I had mistakenly thought the work would be less than what it really was. He was right to quote me what he did!! I offered to pay him the full amount when I saw this and he insisted that he had already agreed to the original quote and I did not need to pay him more. I did it anyway because I admired his integrity. Even though my only intention was to renew my kitchen, because of the work that Julio does, and because of the prices he charges, I have had Julio do my entire house. All of my family and friends have asked me for his name and number because I am constantly letting them know these things: 1. Julio quotes more than reasonable prices. 2. He works fast. He is extremely efficient and thorough. 3. He is a perfectionist and takes extreme pride in his work. 4. He is an honest and reasonable businessperson. 5. His vast knowledge allows him to spot possible issues with a job before he starts it. For example, he suggested we move my arch to the side wall because of the possibility of compromising the supports on the wall where I originally wanted. Many contractors would not have caught that until they began demolishing and maybe would have done it anyway without letting me know. 6. He speaks very good English. Although I also speak Spanish, I have often heard from friends who have a hard time with some contractors on that subject, so, I think it’s a plus to have someone like him. 7. He knows how to do almost anything! He started with painting, replaced counters, added tile, hardwood floors, windows, fireplaces, deep cleaning. Many times I stated a problem where he thought of a solution immediately and implemented it.

Julio was very reasonable. I was able to negotiate a lower rate when I explained the job would take about 30 minutes to complete. He agreed with my assessment after I sent him a picture. All I needed to provide was the paint. We had to cancel the initial appointment due to rain early in the day but he kept in touch when he had an opening. On the morning of the job, Julio texted to let me know that he was going to be 20 minutes late. I was nervous I wasn't going to make it to a meeting on time but he got the job done with one coat of paint in the allotted time. He gave me a discount as compensation for not being punctual and he offered to come back to repaint if it rained later that day. Julio did a good job painting the two small sections of flashing on the exterior of my home. He did not leave a mess and I got an invoice upon request. He is easy to work with and I consider him to be very fair. I would use him again.

Very unprofessionally work started work agree with priced and decided not to finish and asking for more money. My house is all messed up because of him. I would never hire or recommend to any one. Be careful. He is very greedy start the job and keep increasing money because owner is stuck because he has started the job and finishing. Either he is on the phone all day or stays in the bathroom 10-15 min more then 1 time.

The first thing I want to say regarding things. I am not racist. But this lady is from India. And she may feel the prices expensive in this country, I charged 6,150for the whole house high ceilings, and started saying that we were going to only change the color and paint the base moldings. After starting the job she asked me to paint all of the crown moldings which she only offered me $500 more. I for the necessity agree, but this morning when I got to her house I was almost halfway my work and that’s when she decided to change the color for the same pricing. I think this is fair to run away from there... and to top it of she only gave me $100 deposit. And on top of all the responsibility that I took she makes me remove the blinds, curtains, pictures framings, sofa/couch, furniture, carpets,. It’s ok is necessary to do this. But I do not feel is fair when she asks the wrong way and for the same PRICE.
