While someone may be familiar with a professional's name, still shop around! Certain artists specialize in different things. "Well known" doesn't always translate to getting what you want for your project or event-especially if you can't afford to get everything you want from them. Along with that, don't book someone without seeing their work and booking a test session of its for a wedding so there are no surprises.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I would recommend having at least the details for the budget, completion time frame and a general idea of what you want. These details can help the person providing any service to give you the most accurate quote since each aspect can effect not only the cost, but if the person can fulfill your requested needs.
