FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is simple and straight-forward. Unless otherwise noted, your session will include at least 1hr of photography and all the edited, hi-res digitals. All your edited images will be uploaded into an online gallery within about 2 weeks of your session. You then have the option of printing through me (saves you the time and hassle of downloading and re-uploading and ensures top quality) or you can print your photos on your own! Sessions also include a mobile app that can be installed on almost any mobile device.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new customers, I like to keep things as simple as possible. We all have enough things going on in life :-) Once you sign up for a session, I will contact you and set up a time to get to know you better. I like doing this in person over a cup of coffee (or tea if you aren't a coffee drinker) or someplace informal. If schedules won't allow us to meet in person, we can get to know each other better over the phone. We will discuss things like pricing, locations (if you need any advice on places), maybe what to wear, how I handle posing, maybe some schedule tweaks, and so on. The goal is to answer any questions you might have and make things easy on you. During the session we keep things laid back, hopefully have a lot of laughs and make some great photos!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I participate in some sort of training or education almost every day. I am a member of a couple training websites that are home to the best teachers in the biz. There's always something new to learn: New lighting, new posing, a different way to edit, a new way to interact with the client, and so much more. It's an exciting time to be a photographer because there is so much to learn and try out!
