FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to keep my prices affordable but I do account for all of the hours editing the photographs, which is a very large part of the process. The hours and the work included the day of is not overlooked, and also equipment and materials. I also include my assistant photographer's hours in with the amount if the package you choose includes one. I look at the prices as an investment to my clients because I bring a product to them that they will cherish forever.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to meet with clients or chat on the phone so that we can get to know each other a little bit! I also do this to learn a little more about what my client is looking for. Most of the time couples have never worked in the wedding industry or had portraits taken. I love to see what they have in mind so that I am able to guide them in the right direction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Fine Art and Graphic Design at Vincennes University and then transferred after graduating to Herron School of Art. I studied Fine Art Photography and Art history at Herron. I graduated in 2009. While in school, I photographed my first wedding for a friend. Since then I have photographed over 40 weddings and about 20 portrait sessions. I have assisted some of the best photographers in Indianapolis, as well as worked for Georgestreet Photography.
