Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I create a positive, productive environment in which students don't just learn tactics to get higher scores; they develop the real skills that underlie academic success and lifelong flourishing. Learning doesn't have to be a disheartening slog. I believe it can and should be an elevating, joyful process. I accomplish this by giving every student an experience of success every time we meet. I get to teach powerful, fundamental skills to students who are motivated and ready to learn. When they come to me for test prep, they're getting something they know they need, and they're listening. A lot of people who struggle with math have just never had it completely explained to them before. Often, teachers move on after barely explaining the concepts, dragging students through a mathematical landscape they haven't been given time to master. I love getting to hear, "Nobody's ever explained it to me so clearly before."

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

If you work with me, you're getting an elite service at a very low price. I started out at a prestigious educational center that charges hundreds of dollars a session, and I was their number one tutor for several years. My goal is to provide the same quality of service without having to gouge you to pay the franchise fee.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask tutors about their methodology. How do they support long-term change in their students' habits and mental frameworks?
