I don't even know where to begin but I would say a "nightmare" would sum it all up. It took 3 very slowwwwwwwwww movers from 9am to 930pm to complete the move and 3-6 of us had to help them all day and continue to ask them to speed it up and pretty much tell them how to do their jobs, so slow and cost so much extra money cause of that. Now, the worst part is the amount of damage that occurred to furniture and other items. Broken shelving unit, dining room table completely scratched up, gashes in living room and master bedroom furniture, chips on pretty much all wood furniture and we have not even opened most of the stuff in storage yet..can only imagine how much damage is in there. I am very mad we went with this company...was the worst moving experience any of us dealt with and the "owner" is now saying I took too long to send images of the damage and will not pay for anything. I am also floored by the reply from the "owner" of this company. Most of what she said is false which is quite unprofessional for a company to do but this just goes along with the service or lack of service we received. Not sure why she had to add the pointless sentence about my mom packing a few last minute boxes...that had nothing to do with anything but quite childish and again, unprofessional. She forgot to apologize about her "staff" who thought it was funny to ride the dolly carts down the ramp ON THE CLOCK on top of the entire day cluster which this was. And how were we supposed to pull everything out of storage so her furniture person could come fix it. As I explained to her, I documented everything with pictures that lined up with the exact damage with TIME AND DATE STAMPED pictures to show the damage that her movers did, sad she had the nerve to blame us for that...very low tactic. Oh, and she finished out the night by trying to over charge us over $100 cause she said she had a long day and was tired so her math was off. Uhhh, STAY AWAY!Oct 15, 2018VerifiedBirget C.'s reply
As per our previous response CMB # 1 priority is provide excellent customer service which include, addressing all customers complaints. Management offered to come out and do an assessment and to have a professional furniture technician do an evaluation of the “capital stated damages .” This offer was DECLINED. CMB policy is to immediately address all of customers concerns. 2 MONTHS after the initial move and having a third party move the furniture we can’t quantify when the scratches occured, and this is outside of our policy. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We will answer or return your call promptly. We listen to you and will accommodate you 100%. We will provide exceptional service. Once you hire us, the client will receive a reminder call approximately 1 hour before the movers gets to your destination. You will be greeted by the Team Lead Supervisor who will introduce him/herself. All staff members are dressed with CMB Movers shirts and black pants. This way you can identity all movers in your home. After the job has been completed, the client will receive a courtesy call to follow up on the move process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?All Movers are trained and have moving experience. CMB moving team have a total of 8 years of moving experience. Our goal is to move each customer with care! Customer service is our #1 priority!
