FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Proper estimating is done one way and one way only, full transparency! Both the customer and the contractor must be speaking the same language. Contractor A may be more expensive than Contractor b simply because they are using two different types of material. Are all Contractors Licensed, if not it will differently effect the pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet and greet is always the first step, I do not want to just be a contractor for them. I want to be a trusted friend! Explaining in detail my experience and knowledge is important in the trust earning. The next step would be to listen to their needs, wants and dreams of what the project should be! After evaluating the project and accessing the build, if any thing the customer did not know or understand would be talked about. After that a clear and detailed estimate would be given and explained.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Renovation contractor in the Tennessee market and have held the same Licensing in Georgia. Being in construction for over 28 years as lead to a ton of on hand experience of what to and more importantly what not to do.
