After a career as a zookeeper at the world famous San Diego Zoo, I switched animals completely several years ago to work in Real Estate. Oddly enough, there is a similarity to the two careers in that success in both depends on great relationships with those you work with! Born in Sweden, I stay connected with my membership with the House of Sweden in Balboa Park. With a daughter who is an alumnus of the women's golf team at the University of Colorado and a son who is playing college golf at UC Berkeley, we are avid fans of the game!

We went to Lenna after a bad experience with another realtor. She listened to our needs, devised a plan that worked for us and helped us at every step. We had lots of questions and she was always patient, positive and offered solutions/options. We feel lucky to have worked with her and are grateful for all she did for us. We cannot recommend her enough!

We met Lenna at an open house and my husband and myself did not have a realtor yet. She was professional, always available or told us when she would be. She was an absolute joy from start to finish. I highly recommend her and if needed I would use her services again. It has been about a year and a few months since we purchased our home with Lenna's help.

Lenna was our realtor when it was time to sell our childhood home. Her compassion during this time of change came from Lenna's knowledge of the neighborhood, her ability to interact and understand the needs of those interested in the house plus our goals as the sellers. We hired Lenna to represent us as a buyers' agent when we wanted to purchase a home. She patiently showed us many properties and ultimately found the *perfect* home for us. Because it was a foreclosed property, the handling required extra work and attention, which Lenna handled professionally from start to finish.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    There is no upfront payment to any Realtor. The seller of a property pays the commissions to the agents involved through their proceeds. Unlike other professions, realtors provide services up front with no promise of a closed transaction or any payment. Therefore, it is important and very appreciated by any realtor, that a prospective client maintains a relationship with the agent that they "click" with the best and lets their prospective agent know if they are working with any other agents at the time.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We have a little conversation about your plans in terms of buying or selling a home, specific desires, timeline and readiness. I will give you suggestions or referrals to the best avenues in proceeding with a real estate transaction or reaching the goal of preparedness.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have over 10 years of experience in this work and have maintained my professional continuing education in aspects of distressed sales, ethics, and the ever changing laws and statutes regarding real estate transactions.
