FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually we chat on the phone or meet for coffee to discuss wedding plans and select your photography package. There is a 50% retainer due to secure your wedding date and the rest is due 30 days before your wedding. A lot of my brides decide they want to pay for everything up front which is fine as well. I do get a lot of people coming into California for a destination wedding and just book me over the phone. You can sign your contract and send your payment online. After your wedding is booked, It is usually not necessary to spend much time chatting until your schedule is set by the wedding planner. That usually happens 30 days before your wedding. That is when we will need to go over your final schedule of events. It is also a great time to send me the contact information for your DJ, wedding planner, and a day of contact that will be with you and will have their cell phone on them (like a bridesmaid or groomsman that will answer). After this, you can call me or email me to give me any updates you might have and then I just like to chat or text the day before to confirm the time and location and make sure nothing has changed. Then it's your wedding day and is time for the fun!

- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was 9, my aunt and uncle gave me a camera for Christmas. After that I made a portrait studio in my room and had my brother pose for me so many times, that by the time I was in college, my mom had to force him to do it :) Even though he got tired of being my model then, I know he misses all the attention now. I have loved photography since I was a little kid and I will never be able to do anything else.
