As first-time home buyers, my wife and I were very unsure of the process and hesitant to get into something we knew very little about, but with Alex at the wheel he has helped us understand the process on a global scale but also the intricacies that come along with each individual component of buying a home. Additionally, he has made the process fun and informative. He always asked the right questions to help determine what we expect from a home without putting us in a binary position of yes/no to any specific feature as a need/want. Furthermore, Alex's passion as a realtor is unquestionably at his core. He knows the process, the strategies, the approaches, the techniques, the ins and outs, and he is thrilled by it at every stage. During several outings, Alex always took the time to make sure we understood the finer points of the process and made sure to explain the things that might be confusing. One time, after informing him that we didn't know much about the process, Alex brought us to several homes just so we could learn about what types of features we like. At another home, my wife and I quickly became enamored with the house as a space without considering the potential issues, but Alex was there to point out some of the potential concerns that we had overlooked. Alex's concern is for his clients and it has alleviated any and all fears my wife and I had about buying a home.

I feel so very fortunate to have worked with Alex. As a first time homebuyer who had never worked with a realtor, I trusted the reviews I read online and I am glad I did! I had a unique situation- I had to find and close on a home within ~2.5 months. He recognized the urgency of my situation and was willing to help. Alex is an excellent communicator and is readily accessible. I appreciate that he communicates via text message because that is easier for me with work. He always answered questions in a way that was easy to understand. Alex was ready to show me any home I wanted to look at and pointed out things about them I would not have thought about. Once I found the one, he worked really hard to make sure I did not overpay and gave me great tips to make the process as smooth as possible. He has a very easygoing personality and you can tell he cares about his clients and has a passion for his work! I never felt pressured or rushed into anything. I am a person who does not write a lot of reviews but please see below because Alex has done everything to earn this stellar review. Alex is a rare find and we were lucky enough to have him as our realtor. Work Ethic, Integrity, Trustworthy, Capable and Resilient are some words that come to mind. He is eclectic in his approach and somehow made this process calm and very easy especially in the highly competitive Okemos housing market. You could read 100 reviews and they will all tell you the same thing about Alex, he knows what he is doing and is a great person. What we want to make clear is that Alex will stick it out with you even when the going gets tough. He helped us find a house in a very competitive market . Alex navigated us for s through the craziness of constant contract changes, inspections, figuring out potential renovation costs, and continuous doubt about whether we would actually ever close. Throughout the process he kept us informed and led us as a team. He was truly amazing. We feel like we could happily go on and on about Alex. But to cut straight to it, we want to say that Alex will always be a special person to our family.
