I was an electrician for over 25 years and have extensive knowledge of all types of construction. For the past 6 years I have been doing maintenance work.One of the things that sets me apart from other people in this business is that I will NOT do the job if I am not sure how to do it properly or professionally.

Mr. Overbeek was referred to me by a friend for installation of a ceiling fan and to paint several rooms in my home. He was very punctual; arrived on time completely prepared for the scheduled work. He finished the work in the timeframe promised with no problems. I was and still am very satisfied with his work. I highly recommend Mr. Overbeek and will most certainly hire him again if the need arises.

James was a total superstar on this job and also an exceptional individual. He really stood out in many ways. James is a highly-experienced handyman with a ton of skills. Beyond his experience and getting the job done, here's some other things I admired about him: he's honest; CARING; extremely hard-working; polite; and he's a creative problem solver. We would DEFINITELY hire James again!! Highly recommend!

Very friendly. Agreed to do a variety of jobs for us (hang doors, change light switches/bulbs, light carpentry/paint). VERY slow, relatively sloppy. After a week, James just stopped answering email/text/msgs. Some jobs incomplete. Be sure to obtain quotes--and watch for excessive time on simple projects.
