Introduction: Von Weiss Kennels has over 25 years of training experience and we have a personal touch with all our clients. We believe in quality training without using force to train and believe in motivational training instead of negative results. I love my work. Every dog is different and has their own personalities. Meeting and training each dog is a goal for me from my heart, not my pocket book. I love learning new technics that are constantly changing and getting the owners and dogs to work as a team with great end results.

Melissa is great! I specifically set aside time for this review. She responded really fast and took care of our dog. We paid a visit to her house about 1.5hrs from Vegas and we knew that she is professional and know what she is doing. Not only she helped daycare but also provided some basic training. Definitely recommend and I will need the service again.

I am writing a review before the end of Dahlia’s training sessions, because I am already seeing so much progress. Dahlia is a four year old pit mix. She has always been incredible people friendly, but has gotten increasingly aggressive with dogs. We signed up for a 12 week course, and just four weeks into training she is learning to ignore dogs and listen to me. I’m so excited to finish our classes, but already can say that the improvements are already making our everyday life better.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer discounts to all military and police as well as fire department and medical field.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first process with a new client is going over their specific needs for their dog. Then I explain exactly what is entailed for the training and what to expect. I always ask about the background of the dog and observe behavior the first lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
9 years training K9 Units in NYPD. 6 years training in T&E Productions. (Film) 6 years training Schutzhund Sport. 25 years personal training Master Degree in Animal Behavior 6 years at Moorpark University
