James is absolutely the best person to have for the best day of your life!! My husband and I love every single one of our wedding photos. He was extremely helpful every step of the planning process for our wedding (especially since we were a destination wedding). From giving us tips on where to get the best vegan deserts and even had awesome recommendations for other wedding vendors. He was incredible! He would climb on rocks to and up mountains to get the perfect photo! He also did a great job of capturing the small details. I highly recommend him and guarantee you will not be disappointed! James was absolutely amazing. We hired him as our photographer but he did so much more. He scouted locations, made arrangements for bathrooms, made local recommendations and was so attentive to my non-stop e-mails while I was planning a small wedding from 10,000 miles away. But I haven't even gotten to the best part: his photos! Friends and family haven't stopped gushing about them with comments like "these could be in a magazine." Absolutely jaw dropping stuff and very affordable. Its also so great that he has started a full-service company. Separately, he's just a really cool guy and both my family and my husband's family adored him. I can't recommend James and his business enough.

James with James Westray Photography did an excellent job shooting our wedding in August 2014 in San Diego. James worked with us ahead of time to pick shooting locations, timing and logistics for our big day! On our wedding day, he arrived on time and took beautiful memorable photographs in a professional and courteous manner. It was a great pleasure working with James before, during and after our wedding, and the results are outstanding!

What a gift you have given us. I honestly thought I would get my wedding photos and never look at them until I was old and grey. I cannot stop looking at them! Not just because they are beautiful but because they remind me of the moments we shared, you were just as much a part of our day as my friends and family.

I have 4 base packages but am always happy to put together a custom packages that suits your exact needs and/or budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I really like to find out as much as I can about you as a couple, what you love to do, your interests and where you are from. Its important that I learn as much as I can about you as people so I can cater your wedding day specifically to you and deliver an experience that is unique and personal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 10 years in photography and 6 years in wedding photography.
