FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If asked to provide computer lessons I require a 2-hour minimum and do not recommend more than 4 hours a session. If required to travel more than 10 miles an additional fee depending on distance may be added to the cost. I will always recommend new equipment if I feel the cost to repair existing equipment is not cost-effective. I love my elders and those of you on a fixed budget, call me and we can negotiate something that works for you. Military Vets get a 10% discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to do a complete system evaluation and make recommendations based on user needs and habits. I will also take time to educate new clients about common problems that may arise and how to prevent or fix so they don't need to pay a tech every time they occur.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently have the CompTIA: A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications. Also the Cisco CCENT certification, and Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint certifications. I have an Associate degree in Computer Information technology and currently working to complete my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I have 2 years of experience at CDW working in the configuration center doing computer builds for medium to large corporations. Additional experience configuring server racks for FAA, Highmark, and US Foods.
