Introduction: Ivy Counseling is a niche specific counseling agency. We are not your traditional do it all, treat it all counselors. Each of our staff specialize in specific areas allowing us to provide the very best care and services to the individuals we work with. It's hard to identify what you enjoy about the work when you love so much of what you do. I've met and worked with some of the most courageous individuals. I am grateful for those moments when my clients teach me something. I cherish the times of healing, when a clients hope is restored and they begin to radiate confidence. However, what I am most grateful for is the opportunity to do the work!

Hi I'm Paul I'm 48. Let me start off by saying that Christy is the real deal. She loves what she does and it shows. It took me along time to finally understand my problem and to use my tools to overcome them and I have to give credit to Christy for getting me here. I know I had to do the work myself and I'm proud of how for I've come but I really connected with her and I don't think I would have learned as much as I did if the connection wasn't there. By the way I now have 845 days clean and sober so thank you Christy....your the best.

Christie is easy to talk to and the atmosphere of Ivy Counsling adds on the the comfort I feel. You don't find too many counselor that show that they truely love what they do and care about the connection they have with their clients but Christie does!

I learned breathing exercises from Dustin and I still use them. They help when I am overwhelmed and stressed. He makes you feel comfortable when you're with him.

Ivy Counseling is great! The counselors are genuinely there to help and strive to help you be the person you have potential to be. Christy is very understanding and easy to talk to. It's such a great feeling to have someone to talk to who doesn't make you feel uncomfortable or as if you're being judged. She genuinely cares for her clients, and I enjoy every counseling session we have. She helps you understand your problems and yourself more with every counseling session.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our standard rates are $80/hr for individual counseling and $25/hr for group counseling. We also offer a sliding fee scale for individuals who request it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working as a counselor since 2004. I am a social worker, a licensed addictions counselor and a supervisor for interns. I have extensive experience and training in the field of addictions, women's issues, depression, suicide, chronic pain and trauma. I have also been trained in EMDR. (Christy)
