If you want to improve your English, work with Dr. Eada Arbab! She is a master teacher and you would only wish that you had started with her earlier! I have been working with Eada for 10 months, and I am excited about the progress I’ve made. I believe Eada’s solid understanding of the English language, curiosity and willingness to understand my learning needs and misunderstandings, and her repertoire of effective teaching are the key for my improvement. Let me tell you more details. Eada amazes me by her ability to hear nuances of my English pronunciation, suggesting her profound understanding of the language. Well, many native speakers may be able to hear the differences, but not necessarily point out the differences specifically. More importantly, Eada would not only identify inaccuracies but also create study plans to work on. She also customizes the plan over time to meet my needs. It has been only a few weeks since we hired Eada as English teacher to my 10 year old. My kid loves the interaction with her. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of my students work with me on a month to month basis whereby they get a discount when they pay in advance at the beginning of the month. My fee is currently $50/hr without the advance payment, but since they pay in advance it drops to $45/hr. Usually this includes all materials and instruction. Occasionally, a student may need to buy a text for our work together.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is very interactive, and after our initial free consult we usually have the big picture approach. This will be adjusted as necessary to meet personal needs.
