- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a fairly standard price for services. My regular fee is $130 per 55 min session. However, if there is substantiated need, I will consult during the first session with a client regarding pro-rated fees, with the lowered fee beginning with the second session. Out-of-Network insurance reimbursement benefits may be available for some clients to request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I first meet with a new client, I go through the initial intake materials thoroughly and answer any questions they may have on those. Then we begin with the client talking about why they've come and what they're in need of from these sessions. We identity goals and map out a plan for accomplishing these.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold current licenses in both Missouri and Kansas as a Professional Counselor. I have served individuals and families for over 35 years regarding many different concerns. I continue my education/training regularly by attending classes and seminars, collaborate with other professionals, and pursue research on appropriate topics as needed.
