S&P did a great job on the painting of the exterior of our home. We picked out two colors, one for the base the other for the trim. The crew came out to paint, and at first we did not want a third color for the garage doors and front door. But one member of the crew suggested a different color, and it turned out great and looks so good!! They also went the extra mile by adding contrast to the trim on the front of house. All at a reasonable price! We love it and could not be happier!Sep 14, 2016Verified
Took days longer than they quoted me. Minimal work done the 1st day, wasn't happy. Showed up to find the painter in the backyard smoking & on his phone. After a phone call to the Boss the 6 rooms in the house were suddenly done 2 days later. At one point they said they needed an extra $200 for more paint. No way as I was already out $370 for paint. Final walkthrough was ok, a bit spotty around baseboards. They ask you to sign a contract up front where you must pay 1/2 of labor costs on the day they begin. Just glad it's done. Could've done it myself but didn't have the time. I would rate it OK. Boss was very accessable on his phone, always answered.Oct 15, 2017
Their quote was almost $2,500 higher than the next highest. Had to eliminate them on price.Oct 14, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Yes.Labor cost for for interiors is roughly $1.00 per sq ft for walls plus the cost of paint/supplies but can be higher depending on many factors. $1.20 to $2.25 for exteriors depending on how much scraping and prep involved, height of house and difficulty climbing around on.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I try to communicate the exact process and include them in it as much as possible.Even having them come out in the end to point out any areas they feel need extra attention.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We have learned through trial and error over several years. My main painter is incredible and I am in awe of his skill.
