FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically I charge $20 per half hour lesson and $35 per hour lesson depending on drive time. I drive to you! I am always willing to work with my students in price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first step with a new student or customer is to identify what their exact goals are and form a direct approach to accomplishing those goals. Not everyone wants to learn how to sight read music on guitar. If that is their goal, that is great! If their goal is to be able to sing and play songs for their friends and family, I put the irrelevant information aside and work with them on their basic chord shapes. I teach them the exact skill set they need to accomplish their goal. This is just one example, and the best approach with anyone is communication.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played guitar and trumpet for nearly half my life. I was a band geek throughout school. I was in every concert band, marching band, pep band etc...Around the age of 15 I started shifting my main focus to guitar as a tool for writing songs. I now have a degree in music. I have spent four years of study on Classical Guitar under world renowned player Anthony Glise, and an equal amount of study under local guitar virtuoso Jason Riley. Since graduating high school at 18 I have been totally immersed in Music and perfecting my craft.
