FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing structure is $19.00 per visit and $1.00 per additional pet for one visit days. On days where 2 or more visits are needed, a discount is offered at a flat $19.00 per visit with no additional charges up to 3 pets. Pricing for 4 or more pets is $20.00 per visit and $1.00 per additional pet for one visit days. On days where 2 or more visits are needed, a discount is offered at a flat rate of $20.00 per visit with no additional charges per pet. Additional charges only apply when extraordinary work is involved such as extended long walks or work requiring time in excess of 30 to 45 minutes per visit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a Class Above Pet Sitters, I prefer to schedule a complimentary consultation where I can meet you and your pets. Occasionally, I have been contacted by a new customer that must leave immediately and does not have time to meet during a consultation. In these instances, I can do a consultation over the phone, get all the care instructions, but I do require that I have a good way to contact the customer should I have any questions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since I have been in business over 25 years, I have accumulated a vast amount of experience in working with pets. The first 21 years I ran my pet sitting as a part time business while working for a large telecommunications corporation. I am a retired business professional with a Masters degree and went full time in my pet sitting business in 2013. As a past business professional, I developed skill sets such as meeting or exceeding metrics, time management skills, and developed a strong customer service focus. These attributes I believe have positioned me well above your ordinary average pet sitter. With my decades of pet sitting experience, I have spent a considerable amount of time working with veterinarians and have learned extensively about pet behaviors and ailments. Over the years, I have been able to spot health problems of pets, that the owners were not even aware of.
