- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are standard base prices for small projects such as book covers, flyers, brochures and simple logo designs. As with any industry, depending upon what a client wants or needs, any project can become a custom quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For photography - I provide a consultation to learn more about the couple and wedding plans. We decide upon what services they would like and I write up a contract. I require a small deposit to reserve the wedding day and the full amount paid before the wedding. I try to keep the process simple and stress free! Design: After learning about what type of design project a client needs, I provide a custom quote based up on the timeline and extent of the project. The quote provides deadlines for proofing as well as explanation of fees. If agreed upon, a contract is signed, 50% payment is received and work begins. I keep communication open throughout a project and provide design proofs and revisions in a timely manner.
