- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a service call fee for small fixes at $99 (labor only) for the first 2 hours plus an additional hourly rate prorated every 15min. If the scope of the project is over a day I would offer a quote in order to save money to the customer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get customer contact information, a scope of the work needed and then schedule an appointment for a face to face contact. Following our meeting I usually email a quote and follow up with a phone call to answer any questions or concerns.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor in Civil Engineering, a certification from NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) as a Lead Carpenter, 15 years experience as a remodeler.
