- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge per session. Also, I will work at a reduced rate if I feel it’s truly warranted. Some people only need a few sessions to discover the answers they need for specific situations. Relationship communication issues can sometimes be solved in a few sessions. Other clients want to take their time and foster a happy life of their own creation. Thus, I willingly accept whichever way you choose to work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every action we as humans take has emotions influencing it. Most of the time, we’re unconscious of these inner motivations or pressures. Frequently we don’t even believe that they exist. Yet, as we become aware of unconscious emotions, we begin to take real control of our lives. We come alive consciously. This gives us the power to choose instead of reacting. Emotions, especially the subtle or unconscious emotions, are the crux of this transformation. Thus, before each session, I’ll give you a simple exercise that will gently help you discover the subtle emotions you’re experiencing. It’s a process of training your mind to be aware of the unconscious thoughts and emotions dictating your actions. Then in the session, we’ll review your experience. I’ll keep it light; we’ll hopefully laugh a lot. I'll ask you questions based on what I hear you say, all with your goal to gain insight into yourself. This is a reflective process. You'll soon discover you’re experiencing emotions all the time and about everything. In other words, you’ll discover yourself, your true desires, and your roadblocks. Lastly, we will create a weekly plan to help you move forward positively. In the beginning, we’ll work on achieving your small goals. Those small goals will empower you towards achieving your larger goals and move beyond your roadblocks. It’s a process; It’s not a magic pill. It took your whole life to create the life you have; it’ll take a while to see the emotions and thoughts underneath them that are keeping you in place. Then it’ll take more time and practice to see beyond how you feel now to achieve how you want to feel all the time. Every step of the way, I’ll walk with you and guide you as you want it. I believe in you. You can do this.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education and training fall into two categories. I have a bachelor's degree in Communication and Interpersonal Communication. I wanted to be a business relationships communication consultant. Then the Universe threw a really cool deal at me (see the question as to how I got started being a coach). I have spent the past twenty-four years working with many of the world's leading thinkers, philosophers, and spiritual teachers. These people ask hard questions about personal suffering and ending it. I have synthesized that experience with my communication expertise to create a method and simple exercises designed to guide you toward your answers to your questions.
