Introduction: Equipped with experience and fueled with passion for helping others reach their fitness goals, Johannes De La Cruz started his coaching career in 2009 training young athletes ages 9-15, preparing them for competitive sports such as Basketball, Softball, Football, and Soccer. In March of 2012, Johannes decided he wanted to take his coaching experience to the next level. He learned about the power of fitness, and how it can heal and prevent health problems such as: heart disease, diabetes, depression, arthritis, and cancer. Having lost his mother to cancer just days before his 13th birthday, his way of fighting back was by helping as many people possible. By teaching them how to live healthier and longer lives through fitness, starting with the closest people in his life; his family and friends. He began leading his own workouts at Griffith Park, Calif. every Sunday. The growth of his fitness traning turned into being one day a week, to two days a week, which led to a small business and to now a full-time lifestyle commitment. Not only did he help his clients commit to the fitness lifestyle, Johannes also founded TeamXplosive, an obstacle course race team, who took his clients and advised them to take on challenges such as Tough Mudder, Spartan Race and the LA Marathon. To date since 2012, Johannes De La Cruz, ISSA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, has achieved 3 Tough Mudders, 3 Spartan Races, and 1 LA Full Marathon. Best personal training experience I've ever had with Johannes De La Cruz! I'm constantly challenged each session as we progress week to week and he is serious about you reaching your fitness goals! I am constantly encouraged and motivated to stay on track with workouts and sticking to the meal plan he provides. I also recently went to my first group workout at the park and it was blown away with how fun but challenging it was. I even got a prize at the end of it all. I also appreciate how Johannes focuses on learning good form and technique during each exercise to maximize intensity to also avoid injury. Above all, I am most impressed with the personalized after workout stretch. It's the best workout experience ever! I highly recommend training with Johannes and joining TeamXplosive! The gym he uses (Matador Performance Center) is fully equipped with some awesome unconventional equipment and everyone there is serious about fitness. Very warm and welcoming environment I must say.

One day I told myself.. it's time for me to shine!! I've been training with Johaness 2 month now, and believe he is one of the most experienced & committed trainers around. I started training twice a week, and I really enjoyed the variety & challenge he put into the sessions & two weeks ago.. I started training 3 times per week. Johaness is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging.. My fitness has increased noticeably and I've seen improvements in my ability to complete more sit ups / core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I actually look forward to my workouts. Johaness ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. Before my workout section.. I'm always ready to start training!!. Once again Johaness, thank you and I can't wait for my workoutt on Saturday!! Oh yeah!!!!

I've been working out with Coach Jo for about 1 year and he's AWESOME. He not only gives you great motivation, he also helps build you confidence and assist you with meal plan options. I've always been an active person, so workout isn't foreign to me. Prior to working out with Coach Jo, my workout consist of just running on the treadmill and routine circuits; the typical go to the gym and go home routine. Nothing too exciting or consistent. After training with Coach Jo, I noticed a difference in my step. His routines are challenging both mentally and physically. With all the new challenges, I also became more excited and confident about working out. I started looking forward to working out and seeing how I can improve my physique and mind set. I wasn't the only one noticing a difference, my friends and family also noticed. They complimented on my "tone arms/legs" and positive attitude. Recently, I found out my husband and I are expecting. Besides being super supportive, he's also continue to challenge me while making sure I stayed safe in my workouts. THANKS COACH JO!!!

Coach Joe is one of the BEST personal trainers I have ever worked with. He is very in tune with the individual needs of his clients even when he is working with a group. I recommend Coach Joe to all my family and friends. All of them have been very happy with his workouts, results and services. I am 45 years old and in the best shape of my life thanks to coach Joe.

It were great experience to training with TeamXplovise, I had been training with TeamXplosive couple times, coach Johannes had set up the games and training different every time, so u won't feel boring or doing the same thing over and over. Coach Johannes is also very motivation which is why I like it. Doesn't matter you are beginner or you have been work out for a long time, it is a good choose for you.
