- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat fee for an afternoon of sewing. It's 60 dollars for 3 hrs. So say for example you are desperate to make your own wedding dress but not quite confident enough. You can arrive with mum or friend and work with me. I will help you fit and make the dress. Or you can bring a friend but no more than 3 altogether and learn s specific skill make a dress, bag whatever you like. Bring your fabric and pattern. Don't forget for kids I do lots of patterns you will absolutely love and for ladies I have some awesome patterns too... or bags...
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer explains what they are looking for and I can then give them options for the lessons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional teacher of Product Design (UK) and also a professional tailor. I have worked with artists and designers on costumes and couture fashion and also had my own bridal business for many years.
