Introduction: I am fluent in 3 languages: Spanish, French, and English. Originally from Peru, my native language is Spanish and I lived in France and Montreal for 6 years and 14 years, respectively. I have been living in the US for 3 years and currently offer classes in all 3 languages. I take great pleasure in sharing and teaching languages to students of all ages (children and adults) and have the unique ability to share my knowledge of different cultures from around the world, based on my personal travel experiences.
The language services I offer are specialized to each individual student based on their specific goals and needs. I provide different curriculum levels whether you are a beginner or advanced, with a variety of techniques. I enjoy making my lessons fun and creative in order to help my students learn in a positive and dynamic way.
Because many of my students have very different schedules, I offer flexible class times that will accommodate their needs.
Love teaching people other languages because it allows me to connect with them and share my experiences in a way that is focused on helping them improve their lives and achieve their goals. The best feeling in the world is to see the progress my students make starting from their first class and every class after. I truly enjoy helping people and teaching them new things.

I found Nancy online and her price was really good, her profile well written too . I emailed her, we spoke on the phone, I was excited, I told her where I lived and she said she would travel to teach to my location. We set up a lesson, the 1st day she had to cancel, because she had an Emergency, I understood , so we moved the lesson to the next day. We agree to meet at 4pm, she calls , says she'll be like 15mins late cause of traffic.... cool, I wait.
Lady Nancy calls me and it's close to 5pm that she's still stuck in traffic and if I could wait longer,but no sure exactly what time she will get here. At this point I already know the game she's playing, to make it worse she's on the phone like it's not a big deal and we can do it whenever , She apologizing and sneaks in a BUT it's far for her to travel or if I could come closer to where she was. Lady Nancy, I spoke to you and explained my location and she seemed fine on the phone . My issue is we already discussed this and now it seems like its my fault, I did my part, i showed up and i was trying to be as accommodating as possible. I'am so irritated at people that do Not respect other people's time, all this could have been avoided, instead of this weasely UNPROFESSIONAL way of doing things..... like they say sometimes cheap can be expensive , good luck!

Dear Lumbiwe, my apologies again for the inconvenience. I do want you to know that I really tried to make it to where you where. Unfortunately, there was an accident and my waze changed from 15 minutes to 50 minutes. Everyone knows it is hard to get out of Santa Monica at 4PM to get to the Valley. I wanted to accommodate you because you were the first person who wanted my services but I learned the hard way that it was impossible for me to teach someone so far, especially during peak hours. Lesson learned!
After our incident, I made sure to stay on this side of town. I meet my students in Santa Monica library and the culver city area. Fortunately, my students are very happy with my services and they love that my fees are affordable. Sorry if you think I was playing a game. I respect my students and my profession. I do welcome your feedback with much respect and like I said before, I learned that as much as I want to teach people in the Valley it is practically impossible.

Nancy es genial! Nancy and I have been doing lessons together for about a month now and she's really helping my Spanish quite a bit! She cares deeply about her students and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable when learning. She is patient but also encouraging, which I think are both required when helping someone learn a language. We have fun homework assignments and practical real life situations that help develop language learning. I didn't know much of the Spanish language at all so we started with the basics; the alphabet and pronounciation, and have now worked up to more complex topics like reflexive verbs and the preterite and imperfect tenses. Nancy sincerely cares about the Latin and Spanish culture and you can tell by her enthusiasm. I would definitely recommend her as a teacher.

Nancy is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. After only three lessons we started to have small conversations in Spanish. She always is well prepared, structures her lessons well and brings assignments to complete for the next session. She also provided me with links to nice instructional videos which are helpful to learn the pronunciation and additional vocabulary. I can absolutely recommend her as a teacher!

I"ve only had one lesson with Nancy so far but she is kind and very patient. I have scheduled an ongoing practice with her and am excited to work with her!
