Introduction: Alison is an E-RYT 200/ RYT 500, Yin, Sattva, Vinyasa, Kundalini and Prenatal Yoga Teacher who, through her extensive studies in India and Peru, also developed her practice as a Reiki and Sound Healer. Alison’s spiritual link to Yoga blossomed intuitively as a young child. Without any prompting or formal Buddhist or Hindu education, there were elements of purpose and understanding that Alison simply possessed. That understanding was nurtured by her ability to follow her own path, taking up experiences as disparate as working on the boats of Maui, to working Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York before setting off for India to meditate under a Bodhi tree at the mouth of the Ganges in Rishikesh. She has been blessed to study with masters and meditate in the caves of the Himalayas, to receive the gifts of Reiki and Sound Healing, and to travel to the spirit world with her Shaman in the jungles of Peru. With her profound connection to the Divine Mother, Alison is also a sacred birth Doula in Los Angeles. She is available for Private Yoga sessions in the comfort of your own home as well as teaching public classes at AZIAM Yoga in Brentwood, Los Angeles.
