- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a Certified Personal Trainer with advanced Nutrition Certification, certification in Adult & Pediatric First Aid, CPR, & AED through the American Red Cross.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I earned a bachelor's degree in Health & Physical Education with a minor in Health. I taught Health & PE for 5 years and loved my time with the children I taught but didn't feel that the system valued Health and PE so I wasn't able to make the impact that I wanted to. A lot of people that I graduated with became personal trainers and I knew it would be a great career for me to transition to.
