FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The Private Training Pricing is monthly so we can be as flexible as you need us to be with your schedule. We understand things come and you need to reschedule. We are very flexible and will always work with you and your dog to suit your needs. There is no contract for the $400 a month price, it is month to month but must be paid upfront in full. The fee for in home consultations is $35 and lasts about 30 minutes. If you decide to book up for private lessons that $35 goes toward that.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to do an assessment first with you to see what we need to work on immediately. These are usually take about 30 minutes. We also like to do an initial phone consultation for general information about you and your dog.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
"Dogs have always been a part of my life growing up. I grew up on a horse farm in Crestwood KY, we always has working dogs on the farm. I didn’t start getting into any formal training until 2013, which consisted of Obedience, Behavior Modification, and Agility. Over the years I have trained under numerous trainers which led to me falling in love with training and being able to train others to have safe, confident, stable dogs. Not to mention how much fun it was building a bond with them and their owners. Over the years I've taken different methods from different master trainers to develop my own program. I feel that is the best way to do it, take what works and leave what doesn't. I have trained many different breeds of dogs at all ages. My number one goal is to be fair to the dog. I’ll accomplish this by teaching you the techniques for your individual dog and setting boundaries. It seems today there are no boundaries set with people's, that can be unfair and confusing for dogs. Don't get me wrong my dogs sleep with me in my bed so I don't set that boundary! I want you to have the tools for training so you can train any dog that becomes apart of your life and take back your life from the unruly dog that seems to controll it."-Matt
