I really, REALLY, REEEEEEALLY like working out with Brandon! He is extremely knowledgeable and reacts to your needs with lightning quickness. I thought I knew how to work out, I thought I was doing helpful things at the gym. Wow, it's amazing what professionals like Brandon and his trainers can do! I now realize I've been extremely inefficient at the gym for the past 10 years! I met Brandon at a beach volleyball class and he gave me a lot of pointers that made me want to know more. Within just half a workout session, Brandon quickly identified the muscle groups I need to work on and REALLY made me feel where I needed to build strength. Every excise has a purpose, and every exercise is filled with tips so you and your muscles are fully engaged in the experience. I am extremely pleased with the company's comprehensive attitude. They ALWAYS stress critical eating habits and my workouts are constantly changing. The wide range of exercises and variations helps you always stay focused and interested at the gym, even if you workout alone. Solid Personal Training has provided me with super focused personal workouts, eating recommendations, and tips for playing volleyball that have made me stronger and more resilient on the volleyball court.

When I started my search for a PT company, lots of people were surprised: "Why? You are so skinny! " Sure they meant it as a compliment, but for me, it just did not cut it. I wanted to be strong and toned, long before it was trendy. However, the gym seemed like an absolutely terrifying place for me: I could not do a single squat correctly and knew nothing except for the stair climber (since stairs exist outside of the gym). I clicked on the best reviewed PT company in the area and my journey began. Over the past months, I learned much more about weight training and my body in general than I had expected: nutrition (I was always very healthy and thought I knew it all), how complex the human body is, how it works and even the importance of rewiring neural pathways in order to get rid of some toxic habits for the sake of my overall well being. We started with very small steps: how to move correctly and feel your muscles, what to do before and after workouts (meals, foam rolling, etc.), and I was very impatient, but it was the only the right way to go. I always had a ton of (undoubtedly annoying) questions since I am one of those people who needs to know the theory behind everything, reads too much contradictory info online and then panics. Brandon and his trainers were always available to help me sort it all out and provide me with various resources starting from grocery shopping lists and articles about time in between sets and ending with research behind myofascial release. We worked on my fitness goals while taking into consideration my lifestyle, training and diet preferences. I believe this is extremely important. For instance, I am very conscious of what I put into my body and all the supplements recommended by the trainers were clean and natural, including those that I used when I got a cold and they helped me recover very quickly. My sleep is also better, so during the day I am able to do more stupid things with more energy :). Last, but not least, Brandon and his trainers always made me feel great and comfortable during our sessions that were always fun, variable, constructed in accordance with my energy levels and absolutely enjoyable. I am happy that I worked up my courage and started training with SOLID. I avoided so many beginner's mistakes such as overdoing cardio, not including fats into my diet, training with an improper form and potentially injuring myself. I needed a jump start and I certainly got what I needed. I am still learning, but feeling much more confident in regards to what I am doing in the gym. With all of this knowledge, I am now equipped to make much healthier choices and I think the overall quality of my lifestyle improved significantly. I think my body looks more and more amazing with every week and I feel much stronger.

I have a very busy life and work a lot, so I had let my health decline and stopped making time for a work out. Before I started to work out with Brandon I had gotten a little lazy. I was tired at the end of my day and had a long commute. Brandon not only is a great trainer, which you can read about on the other reviews, but he actually helped me jump start a balanced life style. By listening to his guidance I have a much more balanced life AND am motivated to work out. My commute had begun to trigger low back pain and he got to the root of that problem quickly and designed workouts that helped me get out of pain fast. He also connected me to quality resources that I otherwise never would have known about. He suggested supplements to help my body recover quickly from intense workouts, an amazing physical therapist who worked with Brandon to get my body feeling great with only a couple sessions, a healthier diet and affordable food options for everyday eating. He got me to be more aware and accountable to myself and my goals and was truly invested in my overall health. Not just through my training sessions, but by working on all parts of my life. He is very motivated to keep his clients happy and work with their individual needs. I have worked with other trainers and none has ever invested so much time and energy outside of the one hour workout sessions. With Brandon your training doesn't stop just because the hour is up. He's always thinking about how he can help improve my health and sharing this knowledge with me. I highly recommend him.

I started working with Brandon earlier this year and it's been a truly amazing experience. For some background, I've worked with a number of trainers in the past and none have lasted more than a month or two. I always get bored and lose motivation, or just think I can do it better on my own. Brandon and his trainers are different. It's not just about the hour spent working out, it's a really wholistic approach to health, fitness and achieving your goals. Brandon will send menu suggestions, check in multiple times during the week, send motivational emails and continue to provide support even during setbacks. He doesn't judge and truly cares about making a difference. I could write a whole review talking about how much stronger I've become, the definition in my abs, glutes, etc..but that wouldn't really do justice to what training with Brandon (and his trainers) are all about. If you're looking for a partner to support, motivate and kick your butt, you won't go wrong with B!

Brandon has been a great personal trainer and overall nutrition expert for me. I get exactly what I wanted out of each experience. I wasn't really in it for a full body transformation, but more so I could learn more techniques to enhance my workouts and remain injury free. Brandon has a wealth of experience when it comes to this and I really learned (and continue to learn) a lot from him.
