Perfect Finish Transportation & Relocation
About this pro
These guys were awesome! They busted butt for my last minute job, finishing up after 10pm and making two trips. They were friendly, pretty much on time (traffic, last min, after other jobs). I’d hire them again for sure! Great value. Honest invoicing. Really nice! Ricky is a pro.Aug 15, 2018Verified
When i called them to hire them they said they would show up at 10 o'clock and come with 3 men and a 24 foot truck for $85 an hour and a $35 truck fee for a 5 bedroom house and he said it would be done in about 5 hours. So I hired them because They were the cheapest. They showed up 2 hours late, and when they showed up they only came with 2 men and 16 foot truck, so he said he would only charge me $70 an hour. Once they came they got right to work and they worked hard and fast for the first hour. But after that they slowed down. It took them 5 hours to move 2 bedrooms and a computer table. After the 5 hours They said they want time and a half because they are on overtime. So after arguing with them for like 30 min ( which we also had to pay for) we just paid them and they left. They were extremely unprofessional, they brought no tools, they forgot their stuff on the front of my porch so they came back 2 days later to pick them up, the guy also dumped my socks out because I said that drawer didn't go there. After they left we went out at 7 pm rented a truck and moved rest of the 3 bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen ourselves. Below are the text messages they sent me just for proof that we did hire them. I would not recommend on hiring them.Feb 14, 2018VerifiedRicky J.'s reply
This is a lie! In his request for a mover on thumbtack, he requested a mover to move 10 to 20 items. When we spoke on the phone, I explained that it would be a minimum of 2 hrs. at 70 an hr for 2 guys or 85 an hr. for 3 with a 35.00 trip fee. We showed up with 2 based on up to 20 items and a 16 ft truck. When we arrived and did the walk through, we saw this 5 bedroom home filled from top to bottom with everything that a 5 bedroom house would contain. It took us an hour just to dissassemble all the bedroom items and prepare them to be moved. We loaded all the rooms from upstairs 1st, along with all that we could load down stairs, moved those items 5 miles down to the very small 3 bedroom home, reassembled the bedrooms which didn’t fit so we disassembled one and moved it to the garage and the other room was so tight that he couldn’t open his drawers to the dresser so we had to move his drawers around to accommodate the most needed to the top where we could only empty the contents and move them around for him. This took almost 7 hrs. Without lunch or break. I explained that we would have to finish the next day due to overtime laws unless he was willing to pay overtime. He didn’t want to so I asked him to pay for the hours that we were there and we would leave. We’re not robots nor do I force my guys to illegally work. This makes no sense for any professional to show up with a small truck and 2 guys on a 5 bedroom home. So, before you base hiring us by this review, please read the other 100 plus and see if this really make sense or did the customer deceive the real need and exaggerate the truth. Thank you! I tried uploading the photo of his request but it won’t allow. As far as arriving late, I explained that we would be late due to our late arrival from Austin the night before and we woke up to rain and sleet on Sunday as well. Please check the weather on that date as well.
I was very very dissapointed with their service. First, they were late and it took them way longer than it should have to move me from one apartment to the other. It took them over 5 hours to move me from one side of my apartment complex to the other! Not to mention the numerous breaks and complaints from the movers as they were coming and going, which was very unprofessional. I ASKED BEFORE I HIRED THEM about liability and insurance in case if any damages and he informed me thwy had insuarance policies civering up to $100,000.00. A little after the mive, I go to turn my flat screen on and it wss cracked! I called him to see what we could do and try to work something out and he denied everything and told me he wasn't liable for anything.Mar 15, 2017VerifiedRicky J.'s reply
This is a malicious way to sabotage our business. Please read all other reviews before you judge my business based on her review. In doing so,you'll find that there has to be a malicious motive to steer customers away from using my service because she is trying to scam me into buying her a TV. This started out as a complaint about the TV and now have resulted in bad service and less than efficient timing. NOT TRUE. During and after this move, the customer was happy with our services and stated that she would leave us a great review. I texted her a day or two later to remind her to leave us a review and now a week later, boy did I get one! Raising the flag! It seems quite peculiar that she asked about insurance prior to us working. It just raises another flag that maybe they broke that TV prior to us getting there or after they tried putting it up on its platform. Not saying that's the case but raising the flag. I received a call yesterday evening. At the time, I was in the middle of moving another customer. As I answered she begin telling me that WE broke her TV. Mind you, this move was done over a week ago. No explanation of how she came to this conclusion. When we moved her TV, it was sitting in the middle of the floor with no power cord. We didn't put it there, we only loaded it. We don't know that it wasn't damaged before or if whomever put it on the floor damaged it. The TV was the last item that was placed on the truck and as it is our custom, we bubble wrapped and blanket wrapped it for safe travel and placed it as the last item in the truck to be the 1st item to come off of the truck. Mind you also, we only traveled less than a 100 yards to the destination which was in the same complex. After unloading it, we placed on the floor in the desired area in which they pointed out on the floor. Again, we didn't set it up, only to the floor with still no power cord or platform. This TV had to be handled by someone other than us to get taken from its platform and put back onto its platform. We bubble and blanket wrapped it when we handled it. We understand the delicacy of the Tv and always take the necessary precautions to move and transport. On the other hand, I don't know if they know how and what to do when handling them. Again, please check all other reviews before judging us based on this one malicious review. This is not our character. Thanks and God Bless!
Arrived on time. Worked fast and assembled my furniture. Will be requesting them again if needed.Jul 13, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our Standard pricing is 75.00/hr and a 45.00 trip fee. However, we give flat rates upon request and we also work with your budget as well. Our goal is to help with pricing as much as possible as we know that moving is not a normal budgeted bill.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? All new customers will have a consultation on the phone and in person to establish a relationship with us in order that they're comfortable with the service being provided. After both parties understand the process and the needs of each other, we plan our day and began our working relationship. At any given time, the customer can have any questions or concerns addressed with no problem.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? All employees are trained by a professional mover with more than five years of experience and once training is completed, the employee will work along side of a senior employee fore 6 months before being considered to lead a truck and route. They're also evaluated every 6 weeks.
