FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job is unique so it's near impossible for me to quote you an exact final price without first seeing the job in person. That being said, pictures of the job site do help me in estimating a quote. I do have an hourly rate of $50 an hour with a $150 minimum for house calls due to travel expenses etc. There may be some things that cost extra depending upon the job but those details would be discussed up front so there will be no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am sure to be open and honest with all customers-I also like to make sure to leave an open line of communication, especially with new customers. I believe it's so important that the customer knows they're getting exactly what they ask for-and by knowing they can call me whenever and I'll be there to answer any and all questions is quite important in my opinion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of what I know is based on hands on learning-I really did teach myself quite a bit from trial and error. I have been doing this for 23+ years and have perfected my skills from both experience and knowledge from other's in the trade.
