- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To become an acupuncturist, I completed a four-year graduate level program in acupuncture. I am board certified in acupuncture by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and am a licensed acupuncturist in North Carolina. Furthermore, I hold certification in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. I am also a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist and a certified Tai Chi and Qigong instructor.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Over 15 years ago my daughter had some severe digestive issues. After unsuccessfully trying many traditional medicine treatments, the only thing that proved successful was acupuncture. This experience led me to expand my knowledge about this powerful therapy that I have seen make dramatic improvements in the lives of my patients.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Tamara specializes in natural healing methods including acupuncture, cupping therapy, nutritional and herbal supplementation and many other techniques of Chinese Medicine. I promote self-healing and focus on improving the quality of life for my clients. I am highly trained in treating all types of musculoskeletal pain, headaches, migraines, injury, allergy, insomnia, anxiety, depression, stress, addictions, digestive problems, neurological disorders, fertility, eye problems, menopause, autoimmune symptoms, and urological problems.
