FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
EVERY INSPECTION IS FREE, only if you decided to hire our services, we charge on contingency bases only. our fees are between 10% and 20% of the net claim.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by reading their insurance policies and determine if the property damage is cover under that policy, then I explain my services, do a free inspection and if I get hired I will report the claim, take pictures of the damage, send the insurance company a notice of loss, set up an inspection date with the adjuster from the carrier, once is assigned, re-inspect the property with the insurance adjuster, scope and measure the property, write an estimate of damages, negotiate with the carrier, and settle the insurance claim. I will only settle if they pay my estimate up to 90% otherwise I will take the claim to appraisal, mediation, or referred it for a law suit with an attorney. Only 5% of my claims are referred to attorneys.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's in Supervision and Management, I have also worked as a TV reporter, and I have had other sales expertise, but my passion has always been in construction and into real estate, therefore I chose to become a public adjuster. I have worked many hurricane claims, where the houses, businesses, and factories, have been destroyed. Helping the insured to get their houses and businesses back into place is a great satisfaction. I have also have many fire claim, same as water damage claims, mold claims, vandalism.... and many other claims that have giving me the experience on writing the most accurate and professional estimates to demonstrate the insurance company why they should pay your claim and why it should be the amount I am requesting.
