Introduction: When training there is no one single path that is right for everyone. A collegiate athlete needs a different training program than that of an individual 65+ years of age. Over the past 3 years I have worked with individuals with all kinds of backgrounds and limitations. Some of the success stories that I have had include helping an individual lose 65 lbs so they could have a knee replacement. Another individual increased all of their max lifts by at least 10%, and many more stories. I am currently a personal trainer at the Wisconsin Athletic Club in West Allis, WI. As a trainer my goal is to help everyone feel comfortable in the gym, and also feel confident in what they are doing. your goal may be too lose weight, build strength, run a 5k or something entirely different. my goal is to lay out a path and plan to help you reach that goal through many different styles of training all the while keeping you safe. Also we want to ensure that you are always challenging your body in new ways, and not just doing the same old thing that got you to where you are today. We have to get out of our comfort zone and push ourselves to be what we want to be, if it was easy everyone would do it. Providing motivation, accountability, friendship, and helping my clients build a sense of ownership about what they are doing, and showing them that they can do anything they set their minds to. I've been training with Ben for about 8 months. He's extremely professional yet fun. He's been able to tweak my workouts whenever I'm having medical issues, but when I'm not he kicks my butt, which is exactly what I want. I HIGHLY recommend Ben.

Ben is very knowledgeable in many different areas. When I first met with him, I thought I had the correct idea of how to go about training, but he opened my eyes to whole other way of how things should be done. The first session we sat down and went over my goals and get them in writing, so we can continue to reference them. He also did a comprehensive analysis of how I moved, so that we could start with the foundation of how I moved and then build from there. As he put it "no matter if you're an athlete or a grandparent everything starts with the foundation. We have to ensure that our foundation is solid before we build, just like a house!"
