FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$20 for a 30-minute lesson | $30 for a 45-minute lesson | $10 introductory first lesson
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you first inquire about piano lessons for either yourself or your child, I'll spend some time asking about your goals and experience with music lessons. If you're inquiring about lessons for your child, I'll spend much of their first lesson asking similar questions of them. My goal is to develop an overall lesson strategy that works well for the student (and the parent) and keeps the student engaged. While this strategy needs to be flexible and change over time, having this initial discussion sets the right foundation and expectations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began piano lessons at the age of seven and continued with lessons through college. I also earned my Bachelor's in music, during which time I was trained in aural skills, music theory, and music history as well as technique in a variety of instruments. All of this education is incorporated into the tailored lessons that I provide for my students.
