FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am very open to discussing options on pricing. There is essentially no fee set in stone.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to know what type of setting they're envisioning for the yoga session and what amenities might need to be accounted for (i.e. mats, music, etc.), and what sort of time frame their envisioning for the event. I also want to know (roughly) what level or type of experience the potential student(s) might have in regards to their yoga practice. And potentially any injuries or conditions that I should be aware of prior to our session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've undergone CorePower Yoga's 200 hour certification process along with their 4 week Extensions program which delves even deeper into elements of teaching -both are required to teach at CorePower yoga which I do and have for the past year or so (I've also helped to lead a training and thus my exposure to the process is two-fold). More recently, I also engaged in an intensive weekend CPY training that focused on the notion of "intelligent intensity" -how do we mindfully prepare the body for the postures we're asking it to perform? Moreover, I'm also CPR certified and certified through TEFL to teach English to ELL/ESL students which I did for a year through CLIMB Theatre. What's more, I formerly pursued a degree in theater arts. In short, I have a plethora of experience in public speaking and facilitation.
