- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees are based on type of appraisal needed and overall complexity of assignment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Determine the scope of work needed for their appraisal needs. Verify what is being valued and if any improvements have been made to home. The physical inspection for a typical tract home is approximately 60 minutes for exterior/ interior inspection. Once home is inspected, recent similar sales in area are analzed in order to provide an estimate of value/an appraisal report.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an educated Certified Real Estate Appraiser with not only over 30 years of residential appraisal experience, but I am also a graduate of the University of Los Angeles California (UCLA). In addition to my college degree I have over 30 years of continuing education classes that pertain to the Real Estate Appraisal profession.
