Introduction: My name is Tonia Nagel. I started this business when I found it hard to board my personal dogs. They were very unhappy when I picked them up after 3 days of boarding. I made a promise to them they would never go to a boarding place again. My life is learning all aspects of animal care, training, grooming!! I've always had a enormous amount of love for animals. Starting a business caring for them was the best thing I ever did.

Tonia treats my beloved fur children wonderfully! She treats them as I would, with LOVE! There is no value that can be placed on the peace of mind that FurbabiesTLC provides when I can’t be there to take care of them myself. I have watched her lovingly work with my Great Dane, Maggie. Maggie has never liked her feet being touched, even as a two week old puppy. Tonia took the time to ease Maggie into a lovely “spa session” haha! Tonia worked with her, made her feel at ease, and Tonia took her time trimming and also took her time to make certain that throughout the trim that Maggie was comfortable. When Maggie would get the slightest bit anxious, Tonia would stop, put the trimmers down and put Maggie back at ease before continuing. Folks, you won’t find a more loving and caring person to care for your fur kids. Period.

Tonya is excellent at what she does! Instead of blowing through the experience she takes time to earn the trust of your pet. Using empathy to comfort their fears and anxieties! She is patient with each of our four! Which makes her a Saint in my eyes! Definitely use her as your solution anytime!

Prices are based upon time spent performing the service and location of travel.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Very simple process. Phone consult, to discuss need! Then we schedule a free in home consult, and I email the new client paperwork which we will discuss in more details on the in home consult.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with rescue groups doing behavioral consults, medical and basic training. I have also worked closely and hands on with many local vets. I've also taken CPR class in case of an emergency. Plus I pride myself with my knowledge of pet and pet care. And, I love to share my knowledge & opinions with my clients.
