FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My subscription rate to service residential pools is between $60 to $65 per month, depending on the size of the pool. If your pool is more than 25,000 gallons or has lots of landscaping plants and trees near the deck or only want a monthly service visit, I will require an automatic pool cleaner. Minimum charge for diagnosis of pool problems is $20. If you are requesting junk removal, I only accept electronic waste, scrap metal, yard waste under 5 feet long, cardboard, outdoor furniture, and pool equipment waste. I will make an offer to buy your e-waste junk. If you are a senior citizen at least 60 years young, I will offer 10 percent off my monthly rate for swimming pool service. Pool owner also has the option to pay per mile that it takes me to drive to your backyard pool for service. Rate per mile: $5. Minimum miles driven requirement to get pool chemicals included in the rate: 9 or more. Less than 9 miles: $5 per mile plus the cost of pool chemicals used per visit or customer must buy their own pool chemicals from any supplier the pool owner wants.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I need to know if your pool water is less than 7 years old. If you are a Senior Citizen pool owner at least 60 years young, I will offer 10 percent off my pool service rate. If you install an automatic pool cleaner, I will also subsidize part of the cost.
